China's new energy vehicle (NEV) retail sales have been reported to have fallen in recent months. The decline in June is reported to be around 7% according to preliminary data, although other periods in June are reported to have seen slightly different rates of decline. Reports of year-on-year declines in previous months, including May and April, also indicate a downward trend in NEV sales.
