Cancer survival rates in the US have reached a new milestone, with around 70% of patients now surviving for five or more years after diagnosis. This overall improvement, however, may not apply uniformly across all types of cancer, as some forms, such as pancreatic cancer, have reportedly seen little change in their five-year survival rates. The development is seen as a positive trend in the fight against cancer.
