China has issued its highest alert for rainstorms as Typhoon Bavi approaches. The typhoon is bringing heavy rain to parts of the country, with some areas already experiencing flooding, including northern China and the city of Shenyang. Flood control and disaster relief efforts are being implemented as the typhoon moves inland.
