These approaches are being applied in different regions, including the Himalayan basin and areas in Pakistan and Algeria, to better understand and predict flood risks under different climate scenarios. The studies utilize data from multiple sources, including CMIP6 models, to analyze and project precipitation extremes and flood susceptibility.
