A closed-crown packaging system has been developed for stable, long-term neural recording in group-housed mice. This system may also enable wireless epidural closed-loop neuromodulation, potentially using a soft sonocapacitor with integrated piezodielectric nanospheres. The technology appears to facilitate advanced neural recording and modulation capabilities in mice.
