A handprint found in a cave in Indonesia may be the world's oldest known rock art, with an estimated age of around 67,800 years. The discovery was made on the island of Muna, although one report mentions a slightly older age of 68,000 years and describes the hand stencil as having claws. The faded outline of a hand is visible, and if confirmed, this would be the oldest cave art found to date.
