A fast starburst wind is reported to consume most of the energy from supernovae. The XRISM has been used to study this phenomenon, providing insights into galaxy M82 and the Cassiopeia A supernova remnant, among other cosmic events. The research also appears to involve the examination of chemical compositions and x-ray spectrscopy in various extreme environments.
