A new model has been developed for assessing the health state of aerospace equipment, utilizing a belief rule base with a step-length convergence strategy. Other methods for assessing complex system health and diagnosing faults have also been reported, including those based on hierarchical, extended, and joint belief rule bases. The various approaches aim to provide interpretable and accurate assessments, with some focusing on specific applications such as bearing fault diagnosis or spam detection.
