Researchers are using artificial intelligence to detect early warning signs of epilepsy, potentially before visible seizures occur. This involves analyzing brain waves, with one project reportedly training an ai model on a large dataset of brainwave recordings. The goal of this work is to advance early detection and improve brain health outcomes, possibly including in infants where timely intervention is critical.
