An artificial intelligence system has scanned a large number of reddit posts to identify potential side effects of certain medications, including ozempic. The scan, which covered 400,000 posts, aimed to flag overlooked side effects of glp-1 medications, which are used for weight loss. The findings suggest that social media data may be useful in detecting potential risks of these medications that may not be immediately apparent to doctors.
