Research is exploring the potential of amino acid metabolic reprogramming for therapy in cholangiocarcinoma. Studies are investigating various aspects of cancer metabolism, including the roles of solute carrier transporters and glycolytic reprogramming, as well as the impact of the microbiota and circular RNAs on the disease. The goal of this research appears to be the development of new therapeutic approaches for cholangiocarcinoma and possibly other types of cancer.
