There are reports of performance issues with Anthropic's Claude AI chatbot, with some users experiencing a decline in code quality. Anthropic has confirmed that there are problems with Claude Code, but denies intentionally degrading its performance, or "nerfing" the model. The company has promised stricter quality controls, and has also introduced a new version of Claude, called Claude Opus 4.7, although some developers are reporting coding regressions with this version.
