Anya Taylor-Joy has joined the cast of the next Lord of the Rings movie, reportedly titled The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. She will play the role of an elf, specifically a character named Seren, a Sindar Elf of the Woodland Realm, although some outlets note that this character is not found in J.R.R. Tolkien's books. Production on the film, directed by Andy Serkis, is underway in New Zealand.
