Accenture has acquired a british ai start-up, reportedly faculty, in a deal valued at around $1bn or £740m. The acquisition is expected to scale accenture's ai capabilities. The start-up, which has been involved in various projects including covid response, has become the first tech unicorn of 2026 as a result of the deal.
