Researchers have developed a method for enriching and separating nanoparticles, with some reports specifying the use of acoustofluidic centrifuge technology. The technique may have applications in drug loading and exosome encapsulation, as well as the isolation of extracellular vesicles. Different approaches to nanoparticle enrichment and separation are being explored, including microfluidic isolation and orbital acoustic trapping.
