A method for detecting defects in aerial insulators using a technique called CWSP-YOLO has been reported. Another approach, called RSP-YOLOv11n, which utilizes a multi-module optimized algorithm, is also being explored for insulator defect detection in images captured by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The specifics of these methods and their potential applications are being discussed.
