Military deployment has been linked to a higher risk of respiratory diseases. A new toolkit and training are available to help healthcare providers address the health effects of airborne hazards, including burn pit exposure, on veterans. Research and resources are being developed to better understand and improve healthcare for those affected by deployment-related lung diseases.
