Airlines are cutting routes in response to rising jet fuel costs. American Airlines has suspended several domestic routes, including some at the Charlotte airport, while Delta Air Lines and Air Canada have also cut routes. Some airlines are also increasing baggage fees and raising fares to tackle the surge in fuel costs.
