A former Guernsey Chief Minister, Le Tocq, has pleaded guilty to indecent image offences. The case has been elevated to the Royal Court and Le Tocq is to be sentenced. The matter has also raised questions about references provided by a colleague, possibly a current Chief Minister, and has prompted calls to protect children.
