A body found in a Manatee County retention pond has been confirmed to be that of a missing teenager. The teenager, reportedly 18 years old, has been identified as Giovanni Pelletier by some sources, although the sheriff's office has only stated that all indications are that the body is the missing 18-year-old. The body was recovered from a retention pond near I-75, and the teenager's family appears to have confirmed the identification.
