A dataset related to a boreal forest fire has been collected using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Research is being conducted on various methods for wildfire detection and smoke segmentation, including the use of neural architectures and multimodal data fusion. Different approaches, such as the use of YOLOv8 and hybrid learning frameworks, are being explored for real-time fire detection and localization in complex forest environments.
