Researchers have developed a bioinspired ruthenium-manganese-oxygen complex for use in biocatalytic and radiosensitization therapies. The complex is being explored for its potential to eradicate primary and metastatic tumors. Additionally, similar complexes with ruthenium and copper pair sites are being studied for their ability to modulate the microenvironment in inflammatory defects.
