A harbor seal and a flamingo have died from bird flu at Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. The flamingo was identified as a Chilean flamingo in some reports. The deaths are attributed to highly pathogenic avian influenza, although one report mistakenly attributed a similar death to a different zoo, Buttonwood Park Zoo.
