Researchers are making progress in the search for dark matter, with some experiments setting new records and others achieving milestones such as creating functioning clocks made from an atomic nucleus. An underground laboratory, located about 6,800 feet below ground, has reached extremely cold temperatures in its pursuit of dark matter. The experiments, including one known as LZ, have also provided new insights into neutrinos from the sun's core.
