Research is being conducted on limbic encephalitis and other neurologic disorders associated with various antibodies, including GABAB receptor and anti-GAD antibodies. The conditions being studied appear to have diverse manifestations and potential links to other factors, such as cancer and autoimmune responses. The findings may have implications for diagnosis and treatment of these complex neurologic disorders.
