A test launch of a Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) has been conducted, with reports indicating it was an unarmed launch. The launch, referred to as Glory Trip 255 or GT 255, appears to have been successful in verifying the reliability of the system and its multiple reentry vehicle.
