Google is rolling out a fix for broken Chromecasts. However, it appears that various google-related issues are being reported, including problems with chrome on android tablets, gmail filters and spam, and issues with pixel phones, such as broken wifi and dark mode problems on samsung phones. The nature and extent of these issues and the fixes being implemented are unclear.
