General Mills is closing three plants in Missouri as part of a supply chain restructuring effort. The plants, which include facilities that manufacture pet food and pizza products, are located in various parts of the state, including the St. Louis area and possibly Joplin and St. Charles. The closures are expected to impact a significant number of jobs, with reports suggesting over 150 and as many as 163 positions may be eliminated.
