Research on gravity-induced seismicity modulation is being conducted on planetary bodies and their natural satellites. Studies have led to inferences about near-surface liquid water on Mars and thermal asymmetry in the Moon's mantle. These findings appear to be based on observations of marsquakes and the Moon's tidal response.
