A trek is underway, currently on day 13, with the route taking it from interstate 10, along the whitewater river, and into mission creek. The section of the trail in this area, part of a larger california section, has reportedly been affected by a significant wash out. The status of repairs in mission creek is being updated, with some parts of the trek being more challenging than anticipated.
