Researchers are using in silico approaches to design a multi-epitope vaccine against Staphylococcus Aureus lukotoxin ED. There are also efforts to design vaccines against other pathogens, including human metapneumovirus, respiratory syncytial virus, and influenza A virus, as well as a pipeline for advancing subunit vaccine discovery against Staphylococcus aureus. The focus of these efforts appears to be on using computational methods to inform vaccine design.
