The Mumbai-Pune Expressway's "Missing Link" has reportedly failed its first monsoon test, with a landslide causing disruptions and temporary closure. The incident has raised questions about the spending on the project, estimated to be around Rs 6,695-7,000 crore. Heavy rainfall in the region has also caused widespread disruptions, including floods and landslides, resulting in loss of life and affecting transportation services.
