Digital health disparities and equity gaps are reported to persist, potentially undermining policies such as open notes. However, solutions to address these issues are being explored and clarified. Research and frameworks are being developed to advance equity in digital health, including telehealth, and to address access barriers, particularly for special populations and in areas like maternal and child health.
