The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has frozen bank accounts of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) amid a financial probe. The frozen accounts are reportedly worth around Rs 440 crore and the investigation appears to be related to the party's investment in an aviation firm to purchase a jet and a helicopter. The Calcutta High Court has allowed limited access to the accounts, with a special officer appointed to monitor payments.
