The Environmental Working Group (EWG) has released its 2026 shopper's guide to pesticides in produce, which includes a list of the "dirty dozen" most contaminated fruits and vegetables. The guide also identifies the "clean fifteen" produce items with the lowest pesticide levels. Reports indicate that nearly all of the tested produce contained some level of pesticides, although the scientific soundness of the findings is being questioned.
