Research is being conducted on new approaches to treating multiple myeloma, including the use of t-cell engagers and novel immunotargets. Some studies are exploring targets beyond the typical ones, such as bcma and ror1, in the development of car t cell therapies. The role of immune therapy in multiple myeloma is also being defined, although it appears that some of the research may be applicable to other types of cancer, like breast cancer.
