A new algorithm has been developed, inspired by the flight of hummingbirds, which incorporates chaotic traversal. This algorithm is being applied to a low-carbon economic dispatch method for regional integrated energy systems. The method is based on a multi-objective chaotic artificial hummingbird algorithm, suggesting potential applications in energy system optimization.
