An operation targeting the east belfast uvf has resulted in the seizure of guns and pipe bombs. Several individuals, including a former soldier, have been charged in connection with the investigation and have appeared in court, with at least one being granted bail. The seized items were found in various locations, including hidden behind plasterboard and inside a schoolbag, with some of the guns reportedly being loaded and ready for use.
