Research has been conducted on the composition and antimicrobial activities of essential oils from various plant species. The studies appear to focus on different types of plants, including Lamiaceae species native to Iran, as well as other species such as Matricaria chamomilla and Citrus paradisi. The evaluations of these essential oils' antimicrobial activities seem to involve testing against various bacterial and fungal strains.
