Research is being conducted on the role of extracellular vesicular microRNAs in cardiac hypertrophy and other cardiovascular diseases. Studies are investigating the mechanisms by which these microRNAs contribute to disease pathogenesis and exploring their potential as therapeutic targets. The use of extracellular vesicles in cardiac repair and regeneration is also being examined, with some research focusing on engineering these vesicles for targeted therapeutics.
