A black hole system known as OJ 287 has been found to have a pair of supermassive black holes. The system has been imaged, revealing a binary black hole and a plasma jet, with some reports suggesting it is the most extreme double black hole system ever found. However, the size of the black hole at the galaxy's center is in question, with one report indicating it may be smaller than previously thought.
