A method called FVC is being reported as a means of filtering variants from popular next-generation sequencing (NGS) analysis pipelines. The effectiveness of variant filtration strategies, including pre- and post-filtration, is also being examined. Additionally, the performance of a sequencing platform is being assessed in the context of whole genome sequencing.
