A scientist has found elephants in Angola that were previously the subject of rumors and are referred to as "ghost elephants". The elephants are said to be genetically distinct. A documentary about the search for these elephants, involving a conservationist and a filmmaker, has been made, following a 10-year effort to locate and film them.
