Astronomers have found evidence of an intermediate-mass black hole in ω Centauri, which could be a missing link in massive black hole formation. The discovery was made using observations from nasa's hubble space telescope, although radio observations have reportedly found nothing at the heart of omega centauri. The finding suggests the presence of a black hole, but the results of different observations appear to be somewhat inconsistent.
