Fire crews are battling multiple brush fires in the san diego area, with reports of fires on camp pendleton, at mcas miramar base, in the rancho bernardo community, and at the san diego-mexico border. Some evacuations have been lifted, such as in the sorrento valley, but the status of others is unclear. The forward progress of some fires has been stopped, with crews working towards full containment of the various blazes.
