The first us patients have been treated in a study of the globe pulsed field ablation system. Results from the study, known as pulsar, have been published and reportedly show the system performing well in treating paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, with some outlets noting one-year data is available. The system, developed by kardium, is also being used in commercial procedures, indicating its expansion into the us market.
