A biohybrid neuromuscular robot has been developed, capable of swimming. The robot utilizes motor neurons and cardiomyocytes to mimic muscle tissue, and can be wirelessly steered. Recent advances and innovations in biohybrid robotics are being explored, with potential future applications being considered.
