Floods have caused damage in Somalia's capital, Mogadishu, with heavy rains leading to waist-high floodwaters. The flooding has resulted in fatalities, with reports indicating at least seven people have died. The extent of the damage and displacement is still being reported, with some areas outside of Mogadishu, such as Jowhar, also experiencing rivers overflowing and extensive flooding damage in central Somalia.
