KDE's KWin is working on Vulkan support and other improvements, potentially for an upcoming version of Plasma. The development of Plasma 6.7 is underway, with beta releases already out, although the status of its release is unclear. It appears that future versions of Plasma, possibly including 6.7 or 6.8, will bring various improvements, including better performance and reliability.
