A recent poll found that approximately three in ten adults rely on social media or artificial intelligence for health information. Lower-income adults were more likely to cite cost and access barriers as reasons for doing so. The poll's findings also suggest that a significant portion of adults, possibly around one in three, use ai chatbots for health advice, comparable to those who use social media for health information.
